Getting attached to the 'the way things are' can make for a very complacent existent, where we stop dreaming, creating, visualizing, and to some extent hoping for better things to come. Change is what makes those things possible. Change doesn't mean doing something different every day ahead of you. It may only mean one new action that is started and instilled as a daily habit, that in turn creates a ripple effect in other areas of life. In the example of Medifast, just changing what you eat is one step in the grand scheme of better health.
